Like a phoenix from the ashes, we are back!
We charged into 2024 at full tilt — launching a Kickstarter, hitting local conventions, and building momentum with every step. The year was shaping up to be a celebration of everything we’d worked toward.
Then came the plot twist. One of our founders was sidelined by illness, and the quest had to pause while he focused on healing and family. But like any good warrior, he found his second wind, and now we’re back on our feet, ready for the next chapter.
What's Next?
Hero Tactics is back to full speed ahead. We’ve been sharpening our swords (and our pencils) with a revamped website and an upcoming Kickstarter that will take everything we’ve built to the next level.
This October, we’ll be hosting a tournament in Kennesaw, GA — complete with updated rules, a fresh card template, and plenty of chances to test your strategies against fellow adventurers. Beyond that, we’re focused on growing the Hero Tactics community, bringing more players into the fold, and making sure every battle feels bigger, bolder, and more fun than the last.
Archerstorm is quietly undergoing a rules revamp — we’re keeping the details under wraps for now, but trust us, it’s for good reason. While our marketing lull last year slowed us down, our passion for gaming never stopped. In fact, the extra time to playtest gave us clarity: the pacing just wasn’t where we wanted it.
Spoiler alert: one certain gamer (you know who you are) kept finding ways to go overpowered and trivialize the game. Fun? Sure. Balanced? Not quite. So we’re dialing things in, tightening the flow, and yes — going a little overboard with even more mechanics to make Archerstorm as exciting and strategic as it deserves to be. More information on it likely will be in Q1 of `26!
